israel bombed gaza’s zoo today.  no, hamas wasn’t there.
israel has bombed hospitals.  no, hamas wasn’t there.
israel has bombed schools.  no, hamas wasn’t there.
israel has bombed apartments, homes, and the streets.  israel has bombed the beaches.  israel has put out snipers to shoot at fleeing women and children and men.
israel is an apartheid state.
hamas doesn’t exist in a vaccuum. israel created hamas.  without israeli oppression and occupation and apartheid, there would be no hamas.
wonder woman wouldn’t stand for any of this shit.  you are not right, gal gadot, and israel.  you are not right, and you will not overcome.  you will never overcome.

Lies. Absolute lies. And I’m disgusted that people actually believe this.
Do you not understand? The vast majority of the Arab world, Hamas included, wants not just Israel but ALL JEWS wiped off the map. Dead.
Israel did not create this situation and that is such a ridiculous statement I can’t even begin to address it.
Stop spreading these anti Semitic lies. Seriously people. Stop it.

Israel didn’t create the situation.
The US, UN, and Britain did when they gave land that wasn’t theirs to the people who founded Israel.
I’m Jewish, and I’m appalled at what’s happening. I also don’t claim to know the whole truth, but that I lay at the feet of the Israeli government and media who are controlling what information gets out.
I think there absolutely are people in Hamas who are as evil as all that, but mostly I think it’s the actions of an oppressed people whose land was taken from them.
I feel like most of the unrest in the Middle East is the direct fault of the US and the UK and the meddling they did in the 40s and 50s last century.
Jews are absolutely the scapegoat, but I’m not going to say we aren’t also complicit.
"Israel" doesn’t always mean Jewish, and "Jews" doesn’t always mean "Zionists."

I agree with the most recent above. I’ll also note that Hamas is not the whole of Gaza. Gaza is left with nothing to do but rely on Israel for their food, their water, their power, their lives, because Israel’s government doesn’t want it any other way. This entire war is a sign of colonialism still existing in today’s world, and it makes me sad inside. And yeah, Hamas have weapons; Israel has A LOT MORE. This fight is like a fly buzzing at a moose. The moose could easily squat the fly at a moment’s notice if it were to simply catch up with the fly, but all the fly can do is buzz.

And Israel’s officials have taken the stance that if you call them out on any of their bullshit bombings of schools and hospitals, then you’re obviously a Hamas supporter. Well, I’m neither a Hamas supporter not an Israel supporter. I’m simply a supporter of finding a settlement that will end this (for another ten years or so until somebody sneezes and the conflict starts all over again).

This is, of course, the correct reaction to Paul Rudd.

I would like to think that was a Bruce Banner reaction as opposed to a Mark Ruffalo reaction.

Done and done.

(Not pictured: “Butt window”, but trust me, it’s there.)

You have no idea how much this cheered me up just now.

I for one, think this is a major improvement. Look how empowered he is! And it’s relevant to the character as someone who is powered by the sun, he’d want to maximize the amount of sunlight he receives, right? It’s not like it makes sense for him to cover himself from chin to toe.
In fact, I think some strappy sandals might be an improvement.

strappy high heeled sandals would increase his height making him closer to the sun. and if wonderwoman can fight in heels it can’t be that hard, right?

This is relevant to me interests/

It appears that those of us who saw the pre-SDCC release as a bad sign were right. As of the episode airing this Friday, The Legend of Korra is moving to a “digital release” platform. Translation: you’re either stuck watching it on Nick.com’s so-so video quality, or paying for it on Amazon. Unsure if Hulu with be Hulu Plus only or not, but if it is free that just means we’ll be out a full HD version.

Nickelodeon lost faith in Legend of Korra after Season 2, but the cogs were rolling too far ahead of time to stop production on Season 3 and 4. They then freaked out after the leaks, rushed the episodes out the door with no hype or promotion, and shockingly ratings were low.

They’re going to try and spin this as a positive tomorrow at the Korra SDCC panel because they have to, but this has to be incredibly disappointing to Bryan Konietzko, Michael Dante DiMartinto, and the rest of the Korra production staff. While I’m glad we will still be able to see the full story, this does not bode well for any future animated stories within the Avatar universe. Other than comics, this looks like the end of the line.
